Hong Kong is a highly internationalized metropolis and is world-renowned for its uncorrupted government, good public security, a free economic system and a complete legal governance system. For more than a hundred years, Hong Kong has undergone the change from British Hong Kong to Special Administrative Region. From having announced the 'public sector reform in 1989 to the formation of the efficiency team in 1992 and Hong Kong's return to the motherland in 1997 thereafter, the government has carried out the public service reform of 'transforming job functions to provide better public services' successfully based on the new socio-political and the economic environments. This has formed the feature of a 'small government, big society'. In more than a decade since Hong Kong's return to China in particular, the Hong Kong government has made adequate use of the advantages of the country's system and geographical location to successfully overcome major crises such as the Asian financial crisis and the avian flu outbreak under the general guidelines of 'one country, two systems' and 'Hong Kong being governed by the people of Hong Kong '. It has thus continued to maintain its central role as the centre of finance, trade, logistics and tourism, and has achieved significant results and accumulated much practical experience in so doing.
We will communicate, analyse conscientiously, customise, organize carefully and pay attention to results based on actual needs so as to achieve a satisfactory complete training process.
We are willing and also working hard to establish a platform for educational training as well as talent and intellectual exchanges in mainland China and Hong Kong to offer solutions for mainland China's government management issues. We also aim to build a platform for exchanges between the governments of China and Hong Kong so as to contribute positively to the motherland's development.
