Hong Kong Financial Services Institute (“HKFSI” hereinafter) actively fulfills social responsibilities and supports social welfare. “Hong Kong China Education Fund” (“Fund” hereinafter), created by Ms. Wang Zhongying, the founder of the Institute, is a charitable institution committed to educational development, with the purpose of “education first; people oriented; contributing to society; benefiting China”.
Founded in September, 2002 in Hong Kong, the Fund obtained approval from the Hong Kong government in November, 2002. The Fund exerts all-out efforts to provide financial aid for those in need for receiving education, to enable them to elevate their academic levels, enhance their capabilities, as well as to improve their skills, and to make them to contribute to the society. The Fund vigorously calls upon prominent personages from all walks of life to participate into and support this Fund, in the hope of allowing more people to receive aid in education. Since its establishment, the Fund has been making continuous efforts in the aspects including donation for establishing schools, for teaching assistance and also for talent training in underdeveloped areas of the inland regions in China.
The Fund fulfills social responsibilities and obligations, devotes itself to spreading traditional educational culture of China, promotes exchanges in culture, education, and technology, and provides financial aid for outstanding youths to further their study and eventually become useful people.
